Get To Know Our Muslim Neighbors

Taking Heart is a program designed for Christian and Muslim neighbors to get to know each other as individuals in a low key setting of food and conversation.  At a Taking Heart event people eat, they talk, and eventually relationships are built and hearts are changed. Taking Heart is a joint program of the Muslim American Society of Minnesota and the Minnesota Council of Churches.

 

Taking Heart has been planting locations through the metro area for the past four years and now there is a new Taking Heart partnership beginning in the Bloomington/Richfield area.  The first event will be at Masjid Al-Rahman, in the Muslim Community Center, 8910 Old Cedar Rd in Bloomington on Thursday, December 17 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.  The event is open to the public and there is no charge, but we like to know how many people are coming to plan for the food.
