Earthquake in Haiti: How You Can Help
Haiti is still reeling from the 7.0 earthquake that struck near Port-au-Prince, the nation’s captial on Tuesday. Experts believe the death toll will be in the tens of thousands.
Currently, the Presbyterian Church (USA) is responding to the disater through the work of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. In addition to assessing the situation on the ground, there was also concern about the condition of mission workers Sharon Babe and Mark Hare.
- $100,000 was released by PDA through the One Great Hour of Sharing offering to help. However, much more aid will be needed in the coming days. You can help by donating to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance online.
