It’s been a rough few years for America’s workers. This Labor Day consider planning a worship service or educational event honoring workers and lifting up the cause of workers justice in your community.

Want Help? Visit Interfaith Worker Justice’s Labor in the Pulpit resource center for ideas and free Labor in the Pulpit resources, including downloadable, ready-to-print prayer litanies, bulletin inserts, a planning tool kit, and a six-unit study guide for your congregation.

Congregations across the U.S. have been celebrating “Labor in the Pulpit” on labor day weekend for the last 15 years. This year, consider joining them—tell workers in your congregation and community you’re standing with them during these tough economic times.
