To help broaden our knowledge of Islam, the House of Hope Presbyterian is offering a number of learning opportunities in preparation for the Didier Seminar (March 6, 7, 8, 2009).
Islam: Religion and Culture Wednesdays, February 4 through March 4 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. in the Assembly Room at House of Hope.

- February 4: Historical Overview of Islam
- February 11: Understanding the Sunni/Shiite Traditions
- February 18: Reading the Quran, including the Mary and Jesus teachings
- February 25: (Ash Wednesday) No class
- March 4: The Influence of Culture and Nationality on Islamic Practices
You may attend all four of Dr. Matar’s lectures for the most thorough learning experience; however, each is a self-contained lecture, so you may also select topics of interest.
