Justice-Centered Holiday Market at Cherokee Park

\”A Justice-Centered Holiday Market entitled \”Gifts Encircling the World\” is being hosted by Cherokee Park United Church on St. Paul\’s West Side, Saturday, December 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.   The church is located at 371 W. Baker St., St. Paul, MN 55107.  Presenters include 50 Lanterns Project, Turkish Scarves Project, Pan Dau Handwork, Fry Bread Love, Friends of the Mississippi, Common Hope, West Side Youth Farm, BE YA GI, Habitat for Humanity, Common Hope, and I Love A Parade.  Gift items include jewelry, cards, scarves, t-shirts, journals, fair trade items, ornaments, purses, coffee, holiday gift certificates and much more.   Checks or cash only.  Refreshments available.  For directions or more information go towww.cherokeeparkunited.org

Seminar on Male Depression at Trinity Woodbury

Michael Wilson (PYS. D., Human Services, Inc.) will discuss the reality of male depression: its causes and the obstacles that often keep men from receiving the treatment they need. He will also explain how retirement and unemployment may trigger depressive episodes.
